Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a key member of the dialysis healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient care tasks such as vital sign monitoring, vascular access cannulation, and heparin administration.
- Conduct hemodialysis treatments according to prescribed orders, including blood flow and dialysate flow.
- Evaluate intradialytic problems and provide intervention as prescribed by physician order or as directed.
- Monitor patients' response to dialysis therapy and document treatment data accurately.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, healthcare) or equivalent experience.
- CPR certification and Basic Life Support training.
