Hemodialysis Nurse Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing patient-centered care and promoting clinical excellence. As an entry-level position in the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP), this role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and provide education on self-care techniques to optimize treatment outcomes.
- Conduct ongoing evaluations of patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Direct and supervise direct patient care staff, including RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and Patient Care Technicians.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and facility operations.
Work Environment and Supervision:
This position requires regular standing, heavy lifting of patients, and assisting with ambulation. The employee may be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials in the work environment.
Education and Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR BLS Certification.
- Minimum 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred).
