Key Responsibilities

You will lead the tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives through collaboration with direct reports to drive results.
- Provides leadership, coaching, and development plans for all direct reports to foster an engaged and productive workforce.
- Supports FMS quality standards by meeting all ESRD regulatory requirements and promoting Quality Assessment and Improvement (QAI).
- Ensures timely addressing and action on adverse events and action thresholds.
Patient Care Coordination
You will coordinate all aspects of patient care with appropriate staff members from admission through discharge.
Educate patients regarding quality measures, transplant options, modality awareness, and access care.
- Acts as a resource for patients to address concerns and questions.
Staff Management and Development
Responsible for implementing FMS staffing and medical supply models to provide quality patient care.
Participates in recruitment and interview process, and decision to hire new personnel.
- Ensures completion of new hiring orientation and training including mandatory in-services and ICD code training when applicable.
Physician Relationships and Facilitation
Facilitates application process for physician privileges and compliance with FMS Medical Staff By-Laws.
Develops strong Director and physician relationships and facilitates staff relationships with physicians.
Maintenance and Technical Expertise
Ensures the integrity and safety of the facility water system.
Maintains knowledge in operation of all facility equipment and technology.
Administrative Support
Responsible for maintaining and updating all FMS manuals.
Accountable for completion of the Annual Standing Order Review and ICD coding.
