Job Description
Fresenius is seeking an experienced hemodialysis team lead to oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care in our dialysis facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Supervision:
- Develop and implement effective leadership strategies to promote a culture of excellence and accountability among direct patient care staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Ensure compliance with Fresenius policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Patient Care:
- Assess daily patient care needs and develop effective patient care assignments, utilizing knowledge of adult health and disease management principles.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, maintaining open lines of communication and fostering a positive work environment.
- Implement changes in patient care/treatment as directed by physicians, prioritizing patient-centered care and quality outcomes.
- Technical Expertise:
- Develop and implement technical expertise to supervise completion of short- and long-term care plans, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Admit new patients according to facility procedure, ensuring timely and efficient onboarding processes.
- Ensure educational needs of patients are met, educating patients and family members about End Stage Renal Disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medication.
Education and Experience
Minimum 9 months of nursing experience and an additional 3 months of clinical experience in dialysis, along with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing (R.N.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary and Benefits
$40.00 - $67.00 per hour, offering a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits to support overall well-being.
