About the Role
Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a skilled Clinical Manager Registered Nurse to oversee the operations of our clinics. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a difference in the lives of patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing clinic operations, including costs, processes, staffing, and quality standards. They will provide leadership, coaching, and development plans for direct reports, while partnering with Human Resources, Quality, and Technical Services departments.
Clinic Operations
- Manage clinic financials, including supply utilization and profit review.
- Responsible for network reporting and on-site surveys.
- In-office position Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Patient Care
- Coordinate patient care with staff members from admission to discharge.
- Ensure patient education regarding quality measures, transplant options, modality awareness, and access care.
- Act as a resource for patients and families to address concerns and questions.
Staff Management
- Participate in selection and hiring of new team members and ensure completion of mandatory trainings.
- Responsible for training courses and licensure/certifications for patient care employees.
- Provide support for clinical staff and encourage professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN).
- Current appropriate state licensure.
- 12 months clinical nursing experience.
- 6 months chronic or acute dialysis nursing experience.
