The HR Coordinator is responsible for processing day to day HR tasks and full cycle recruiting. Supports HR Manager with miscellaneous functions and provides HR services to employees. This position is the first point of contact for employee issues within the assigned functional areas.
Position Functions
- Initial point of contact between employees and Human Resources
- Enter required data into Workday (HRIS) system
- Support the HR Manager with various HR assignments
- Maintain badge system
- Facilitate New Hire Orientation
- Support special projects as needed
- Maintain HR communication boards
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Onboard new employees to become fully integrated
- Monitor and apply recruiting best practices
- Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media etc
- Screen candidate's resumes and job applications
- Conduct interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
- Able to maintain confidential information and discretion when necessary
Position Skills & Qualifications Desired
- Bilingual English/Spanish-Required
- Computer literate (MS Office: Excel, Word and Power Point)
- Ability to administer HR processes, policy, and procedures
- Workday proficiency a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills
Position Experience Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Workday experience or any HRIS experience
- Minimum two years of Human Resources experience
- Solid ability to conduct several types of interviews (structured, competency based, stress)
- Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check)
- Familiarity with the HRIS databases, applicant tracking systems and CMS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Position Education & Training Preferred
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience preferred
