Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls and utilize phone systems to communicate effectively with drivers and clients.
- Coordinate logistics for freight movement, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery.
- Maintain accurate data entry for all dispatch activities, including tracking shipments and updating records.
- Analyze routing options and make adjustments as necessary to optimize fleet management.
- Monitor driver performance and provide support as needed to enhance efficiency.
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette while interacting with clients, drivers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dispatching or logistics is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze information quickly and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using phone systems and other communication tools.
- A team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and Spanish
