Dishwasher

Title : Dishwasher- The Fresh Grocer

Position Summary :

One of the most critical positions in the Kitchen, the dishwasher helps deliver an exceptional customer experience by ensuring the safe and seamless supply of necessary equipment to serve our guests.

Job Duties

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils both by hand and by utilizing dish washer
• Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering
• Set up or break down dishwashing area while following sanitation guidelines
• Other responsibilities include mopping, sweeping, bathroom cleaning, equipment cleaning, and garbage removal
• Assemble / disassemble dish machine
• Communicate with coworkers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service
• Maintains the dish room and dish machine in a sanitary and efficient manner
• Clean fryers, braisers and flat top griddles as directed by management
• Notify Management any time the dish machine wash or rinse cycles fall below safety standard temperatures
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines while working in the kitchen and around food products
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices
• Additional duties as assigned
