We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in the growth of our furniture manufacturing and trading business. With operations that include domestic upholstery production in the USA and international partnerships in China and Vietnam, we specialize in creating high-quality, customizable furniture for major brands around the world.

This role involves owning all aspects of client relationships, sales strategy, market expansion, and factory collaboration while working closely with the leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to translate client needs into innovative product development. Prior experience in the furniture industry is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

· Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and ensuring seamless communication.

· Sales Strategy & Targeting: Develop and implement sales strategies to grow our footprint across domestic and international markets, leveraging an understanding of the furniture industry and client needs.

· Trade Show Planning & Execution: Lead all aspects of trade show participation, from booth design and logistics to client engagement and follow-ups.

· Product Development Coordination: Collaborate with product teams to translate client feedback into new furniture designs and offerings.

· Market Expansion: Research and target new markets globally, building a strong pipeline of prospective clients while deepening relationships in existing regions.

· Sales Visits: Organize and execute in-person sales visits to clients, showcasing products and fostering long-term partnerships.

· Factory Visits & Quality Control: Travel to factories in China (and other international locations as needed) to:

o Negotiate pricing and payment terms with manufacturing partners.

o Uphold and enforce quality standards across all production lines.

o Collaborate with factory teams to ensure alignment with design specifications and delivery schedules.

· Industry Expertise: Stay current with trends in furniture design, materials, and manufacturing processes to position our products competitively in the market.

· Team Collaboration: Work closely with leadership to align on strategic goals and provide regular updates on progress.

· Data Analysis & Reporting: Track sales performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to optimize results.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within the furniture industry or a related field.

· Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing, materials, and industry trends is highly desirable.

· Experience with international markets, particularly in managing factory relationships in China or Vietnam.

· Demonstrated ability to negotiate pricing and uphold quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client and vendor relationships.

· Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
