What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Server position at Fresh Kitchen?

Fresh Kitchen invites guests to build their own chef-inspired bowls “as fast as they can point.” Made from scratch and fresh to order, our menu features fresh greens, perfectly seasoned rices, hand cut roasted veggies, and hormone and antibiotic free grilled meats. All of our food is cooked with 100% Olive Oil and our entire menu is 100% Gluten Free.
Our LINE SERVERS are responsible for helping our guests build bowls, and offering a fun, fast, and friendly guest experience, in a way that’s consistent with our mission and values. THE BASICS
- Must be committed to living by our core values

- Maintain professionalism and a high standard of hospitality when interacting with all guests
- Welcomes our guests, infoms them of new menus items, makes suggestions, and highlights our food ethos
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all menu offerings and able to answer guest questions
- Help build beautiful bowls for our guests with accurate portioning
- Take an active role in ensuring our food, cleanliness, and safety standards of the restaurant
- Help keep the restaurant service line and restaurant, clean, and looking fresh.
- Perform additional opening/ closing/ mid shift responsibilities, as needed.

PRE-REQs
- 16 years of age or older
- Passion for food and people
- Awesome, Energetic Attitude and personality
- Be willing to take direction and work both independently and with a team
- Be able to lift at least 20 pounds regularly and reach, squat, and bend
- Able to work in a fast-paced setting for up to 6 hours
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Reliable Transportation to and from work
- Able to work around a variety of food ingredients and items
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification (if you don't have it, we'll help you get certified!)
