Wastewater Technician - 2nd Shift

The Fresh Mark facility in Massillon, Ohio, is currently accepting applications for a second shift Maintenance Utility Worker for our Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Must have excellent attendance, be hard working, detail oriented, and drug free.

Key Accountabilities

• Adheres to all food safety and personal safety requirements.
• Maintains work area by daily cleaning of equipment and work area
• Perform checks on equipment/processes throughout the shift and record data
• Be able to evaluate water/oil/material quality and make adjustments as required to meet specifications.
• Input data onto spreadsheets and complete check lists on a computer.
• Operate different pieces of equipment manually or through a PLC.
• Conducts Preventative Maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Use tools to take apart and repair pipes and equipment.
• Work alone or with a team to perform a task.
• Communicate well with other shifts for a smooth transition between shifts.
• Reports actual and potential food and personal safety problems/concerns to management immediately.
• Helps out in other areas of the plant as needed.
• Operate a forklift to move chemicals and unload trucks.

Minimum Requirements

• Perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting (up to 75lbs, unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking
• Safely use various manual, power and safety tools common to maintenance
• Handle several different types chemicals in accordance with SOPs and SDS

• Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Wage and Benefits

• Starting labor rate of $20.95/hr. (Shift differential included)
• $300 sign-on bonus after three months
