What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Safety Technologist position at Fresh Mark Incorporated?
Fresh Mark, based in Northeast Ohio, is looking for a Food Safety Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will execute an accurate and precise approach to tasks that support our food safety policies. This position will be based out of Canton and will work between the Canton and Massillon Plants.
Key Accountabilities
- Perform the equipment and environmental swabbing needed per the Fresh Mark Microbiological Monitoring Program
- Perform audits and swabbing of sanitation teardowns for all three facilities.
- Participate in weekly sanitation meetings
- HACCP coordinator
Job Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Biology or in related subjects preferred

Microbiological Background – Through experience or class studies

Work flexible hours – requires starting as early as 3:00 AM on occasion. Sat/Sun - if needed
