What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation - 3rd Shift position at Fresh Mark Incorporated?
The Fresh Mark facility in Massillon, Ohio, is currently accepting applications for a 3rd Shift Sanitation Team Member.
Sanitation employees are responsible for disassembling, cleaning, and sanitizing production equipment used in the manufacturing of food products. The job requires use of hot water, chemical cleaners, brushes and scrub pads. On the job training and protective gear is provided to ensure confidence while on the job.
Must be hard working, detail oriented, and drug free.
Key Accountabilities
- Will be responsible for restocking and cleaning restrooms (sinks, mirrors, counters, urinals, toilets, wall and floors) as necessary throughout the shift
- Clean and maintain locker rooms, benches, and floors
- Clean cafeteria – floors, chairs, and tables as needed
- Sweep, mop, and run floor scrubbers as required for different rooms, hallways, and stairs
- Remove trash from different areas and carry upstairs to the trash bins and take back to trash compactor
- Carry supplies and restock storage rooms
- A variety of other miscellaneous tasks as needed
Minimum Requirements
- Able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Able to be on their feet for 8-12 hours per day
- Able to work up to 7 days per week
- Able to maintain good attendance
- Willingness to change weekly schedule or work over to help cover other’s vacation or absence
- Remain professional and courteous with other employees and contractors
Wage and Benefits
- Starting rate of $15.25/hr.
- $1.50 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift
- Opportunity to bid to higher wage position after three months.
