Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Kitchen Manager/Executive Steward
- Washes pots, pans and kitchen utensils using the dishwasher or by hand
- Puts away clean equipment and utensils in proper storage areas
- Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly condition
- Sweep & Mop the floors, walk-ins, bathrooms and all other facility areas
- Take out all garbage, breakdown boxes before taking to the dumpster and keeps garbage areas and pails clean
- Other duties as assigned by a manager and/or a supervisor
Skills:
- Uses time efficiently and completes work in a timely manner
- Demonstrates attention to detail
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently
Physical Demands and Other Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand for 8 or more hours
- Regularly required to use hands
- Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs
- Regularly required to bend down to floor level or reach above eye level
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have reliable means of communication
- Must wear slip-resistant, oil-resistant shoes while working at all time (provided by employee)
