Pallet Tagger/Tally Supervisor

Job Overview
The Pallet Tagger/Tally Supervisor plays a crucial role in the logistics and inventory management process within our organization. This position involves accurately supervising and tagging products and materials to ensure proper tracking and management throughout the supply chain. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of various systems used in transportation and warehouse management.

Duties

• Process inventory and or tagging of fruit in season using Famous software.
• Uses scan and label machines to create and log tags.
• Reports any product or bin discrepancies to Manager/Supervisor.
• Communicate with the production team regarding entry and output of fruit bins
• Accurately tag products and materials as per company standards to facilitate efficient tracking.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper inventory management using Famous Software.
• Utilize Famous Software for data analysis and reporting related to inventory levels and tagging processes.
• Assist in demand planning by providing data insights from research data collection.
• Support vendor management activities by ensuring all tagged items are accounted for during audits.
• Apply mechanical knowledge when handling products that require special tagging procedures.
• Participate in transportation management tasks by coordinating with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of tagged items.
• Maintain accurate records of tagged items and assist in inventory reconciliation processes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Famous Software, 2 years.
• Preferably 3 year of experience in food manufacturing environment or packing house.
• Position requires standing, and walking on a regular basis for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work any day and/or shift including weekends and holidays.
• Strong skills in data manipulation and reporting.
• Ability to work in cold and hot working environments.
• Bilingual preferred in English and Spanish.
