JOB SUMMARY
The Web Production Specialist is responsible for managing product data in the product information platform as well as managing various Shopify platform extensions. Key responsibilities include new product onboarding, product updates, and publishing product data to the website. Other projects will include researching and obtaining up to date product data for our product offering and using the data to optimize our website content and data. The optimization projects will apply to product detail pages (PDPs) as well as product list pages (PLP) and collections. ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES IN THE GREENVILLE, SC AREA WILL BE CONSIDERED.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
? Onboard new products into our product information platform (Salsify).
? Assist in product data management in Salsify.
? Provide support in the syndication from Salsify to various digital endpoints (i.e. Shopify).
? Optimize product detail pages (PDPs) and product listing pages (PLPs).
? Continuously improve digital content and assist with enhanced merchandising, such as adding product videos and building below the fold content.
? Communicate with the purchasing team for new product onboarding and product data optimization.
? Assist in closing the loop with web and product requests that come through our feedback channel (both internal and external).
? Research and compare other websites to our own site to gather any opportunities and takeaways.
? Additional duties as needed.
