Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during meal preparation and cooking processes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or seasonal ingredients.
• Handle food items safely and efficiently, utilizing proper knife skills for ingredient preparation.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking as necessary.
• Adhere to all food handling procedures to maintain high standards of quality.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred, particularly in pizza preparation or similar cooking environments.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques, including knife skills and ingredient handling.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a team-oriented setting.
• A passion for cooking and creativity in menu planning will be highly regarded.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
