Role Overview: As a Power Platform Developer at FreshDirect you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying custom solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents). You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other solution architects to build powerful, user-centric solutions that enhance operational efficiency, automate workflows, and provide actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- PowerApps Development: Design and build custom apps using PowerApps to solve business problems. You will work with various data sources, integrating both on-premise and cloud systems to create rich user experiences.
- Power Automate: Create automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive productivity improvements.
- Power BI Reporting: Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions in Power BI to deliver real-time insights for stakeholders and business leaders.
- Power Virtual Agents: Build intelligent chatbots using Power Virtual Agents to automate customer service and other processes.
- Integration: Integrate Power Platform applications with other Microsoft services (SharePoint, Azure, on Premise Data sources like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL etc.) and third-party systems to enhance functionality and data flow.
- Customization: Customize and extend Power Platform capabilities using advanced PowerApps techniques, custom connectors, and APIs.
- Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, UX/UI designers, and project managers, to define user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Testing & Deployment: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Power Platform solutions, from design to deployment. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
- Training & Support: Provide training and documentation for end-users and business stakeholders to drive adoption and utilization of Power Platform solutions.
- Expertise in Power Platform: Extensive experience with PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. Familiarity with PowerApps component framework (PCF) is a plus.
- Microsoft 365 & Azure: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.) and Azure (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, etc.).
- Expert Database Skills: Strong knowledge using databases like Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres. Familiarity with Cloud databases will be a plus.
- Development Skills: Proficiency in PowerShell, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies. Experience with DAX, M language, and Power Query for Power BI is a plus.
- API Integration: Experience integrating with REST APIs, web services, and using custom connectors in Power Platform.
- Data Modeling & Analytics: Solid understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and analytics principles. Ability to create meaningful insights through Power BI.
- Project Management: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, experience in an Agile environment, and the ability to manage project timelines and priorities.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex business problems with Power Platform solutions.
- Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying enterprise-grade solutions using PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Experience working in a consulting, client-facing, or enterprise environment is a plus.
