Essential Functions
- Analyze eCommerce customer behavior to deliver actionable insights.
- Provide expertise across both Marketing and Merchandising aspects of the customer experience, enabling informed decision-making for both app and web platforms.
- Perform cross-source event validation to identify inconsistencies, improve data reliability, and ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and Marketing teams to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Partner with business teams to advance customer personalization efforts, including targeting, segmentation, site recommendations, search functionality, checkout experience, and cross-channel interactions.
- Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel) to monitor user behavior and deliver actionable insights.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate large datasets from various sources.
- Collaborate with department leads and senior management to optimize business efforts, maximize profitability, and support initiatives to grow the company.
- Deliver clear and compelling communications on trends, insights, and data-driven recommendations.
- Work collaboratively within the team to innovate and continuously improve analytical capabilities.
- Demonstrate initiative, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to skill and technique development.
- 3-5 years of experience in analytics or business optimization, preferably in logistics and/or eCommerce.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a math-focused field (e.g., operations research, economics, physics).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn new techniques quickly and accurately.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical ideas into clear narratives.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment with strong attention to detail.
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively both in-person and virtually.
- Proactive, with the confidence to provide input, suggest initiatives, and take the lead when necessary.
- Excellent time-management, organizational, and task-focused abilities.
- Expertise in data management (e.g., organization, manipulation) to derive insights quickly and accurately (using tools like Excel, SQL, SAS, BigQuery, Python, etc.).
- Proficiency in product data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Ability to learn and apply new programming languages or scripts as needed to solve complex problems.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and technically adept, with excellent communication and planning skills.
- Familiarity with the latest web analytics software and search engine rules to provide up-to-date insights.
- Public speaking and presentation skills, with expertise in tools such as PowerPoint and Power BI for conveying concepts, trends, and recommendations.
- Passion for learning and teaching others in the data and analytics field.
- Experience with communication tools like Braze or Leanplum is a plus.
Salary : $92,460 - $110,000
