Freshman Academy is an online company that has prepared young high school graduates for the most competitive American colleges. Operating since 2019, our academy has assisted students in admission to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Stanford, Berkeley, Babson, and many more.As a Writing Advisor at Freshman, you will be responsible for consulting high-school students on their personal narratives and other essays. We expect advisors to be genuinely invested in the essays and applications of our students.Main Responsibilities : – Meet with students in a one-on-one online setting– Assisting students in all stages of writing : Ideation, Essay Planning, and Editing.– Review individual essays, university applications, research papers, and others.– Proactively follow up on a student’s progress– Lead writing classes and workshopsRequirements : – Three years experience working in Creative Writing or related fields.– Strong research and analytical skills.– Strong passion for learning and a proactive attitude to work.– Experience studying in an International Liberal Arts College.– Experience working in an online setting is preferred– Knowledge of Russian and / or Uzbek will be preferable but not required.Commitment : 40 hours weeklyApplication Deadline : July 10Salary : Depending on Experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
