Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Driver to operate a box delivery truck in Atlanta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering packages efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run daily routes with frequent stops, loading and unloading packages as designated by the Transportation Department Manager.
- Operate a cross-dock model, picking up loaded trucks from nightly deliveries and returning empty trucks to assigned lots.
- Assist with loading trucks, palletizing product, and performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Drivers License Class B (Class A preferred)
- One year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
- High School or GED or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Ability to read and understand English
Physical Demands:
- Frequent lifting between 50-100 pounds
- May frequently use a Lift Gate/Ramp, Handcart or Pallet Jack
Work Environment:
Monday-Saturday shifts with off days on Sunday and another day during the week. 12AM-5AM start time (8-12 hour shifts). Must be available on Saturdays.
