Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically able individual to join our team at Freshpoint. The successful candidate will be responsible for supplying product to the grading line, staging product from coolers or other areas, and stacking graded product by count and order onto pallets for shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply product to the grading line and stack graded product according to order, quantity, and palletization requirements.
Stage product from coolers or other areas to packing lines as instructed by the line supervisor or operations manager.
Loading the packing lines with the correct material and removing empty boxes.
Weighing and labeling products appropriately as they come off the packing lines.
Moving pallets of product from production to shipping area.
Cleaning and clearing the production area of all trash and remaining product.
Requirements:
No prior experience is required, but a high school diploma or GED is preferred.
The ability to work independently and maintain an acceptable productivity level.
Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs., occasional lifting of up to 80 lbs., standing for long periods, and stooping/bending frequently.
