Marketing Associate
The Marketing Associate is responsible for driving market share growth in designated markets. Key responsibilities include meeting customer needs, satisfying management objectives, and maintaining a strong customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Manage existing customer relationships through regular visits, marketing materials distribution, and market updates.
- Prospect and open new accounts to meet company objectives and Customer Profit Margin (CMP) goals.
- Develop pricing structures and order guides.
- Collect past due balances.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain effective working relationships with the customer service department and operational teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School degree or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of sales, chef/restaurant management experience, or related field (Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality; or Culinary Arts) degree.
- Preferred qualifications: 1 year of outside foodservice sales experience, restaurant management/chef experience.
- Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook; knowledge of Salesforce and warehouse distribution a plus.
- Good communication skills, detail-oriented, decision-making authority regarding customer profitability.
