Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Truck Driver - Local Deliveries to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering packages to customers in a safe and efficient manner, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate records of deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive a company truck to deliver packages to customers
* Load and unload packages from the truck
* Provide excellent customer service at each delivery
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues that may arise
Requirements:
* One year of experience as a route delivery driver or applicable background driving a straight truck
* Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class B (Class A preferred)
* Ability to read and understand English
Preferred Qualifications:
* High School or GED or equivalent
* Experience with inventory control techniques and procedures
* Strong customer relations and problem resolution skills
Physical Demands:
* Frequent lifting of products up to 50 lbs during the shift, infrequent lifting to 80 lbs
* Must be able to climb on and off the box of the truck
* Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
