What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Picking - Team Lead position at FreshRealm Talent Acquisition Team?
The starting hourly range for this position is $21 hour. This position is based in Indianapolis, IN FreshRealm is looking for a Team Lead - Store Picking to oversee the activities of employees engaged in material handling, shipping, receiving, storage and transportation.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for training of new hires and/or temporary Associates
Owns execution of SOPs and holds Associates accountable; escalates discrepancies to Supervisor when necessary
Owns the safety of the team, ensures that all Associates are in a safe working environment 100% of the time
By owning the team’s quality standards, ensure that we send out a quality product to our
Assist Supervisor with development of the team and assist with training of critical roles
Motivate and challenge the team to achieve and exceed daily performance goals
Engage and show respect to associates on a daily basis. Build team morale to drive productivity and quality standards
Qualifications
Skills and Requirements
Clear and concise communicator, verbal and written
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Flexible availability; we work night and weekend shifts
Must be willing and able to work overtime as required
Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and knowledge with WMS
Flexible availability
Experience / Education
1-2 years of entry-level managerial leadership experience in a food production or warehouse environment
