What You’ll Do: As a Tax Investigation Specialist, you’ll work directly with the IRS and state agencies to support our clients’ resolution cases. You’ll play a key role in managing case files, submitting necessary forms, and ensuring each case progresses efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit Power of Attorney (POA) forms and manage tax documentation
- Communicate with the IRS and state agencies to resolve tax issues
- Upload transcripts and keep all case files up to date
- Track case progress and record detailed notes in our CRM system
- Collaborate with our internal team to ensure a seamless client experience
- Take on additional tasks to support the success of the team
- Active CTEC Certification
- Active PTIN and CAF Number
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with CRM and tax platforms
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and CRM software
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience)
