Job Description
As a Sr. Manager of Executive Communications at Freshworks you will have the unique opportunity to shape the narrative, as told through the executive team, of a company creating software that’s reinventing the customer and employee experience with AI.
We’re looking for a content creator and strategist who can take the reins on bringing our company narrative to life through various touchpoints. You are passionate about turning company strategy into insightful discussions that amplify Freshworks’ business story. This includes using data to show how Freshworks is helping to make our customers’ lives uncomplicated, show continued growth, product momentum and value to customers. You have a proven track record in strategic communications, media relations, and thought leadership – and you know how to use them as tools for increasing company awareness. You’ll join our global Corporate Communications team made up of employees all over the world and report to the Sr. Director of Corporate Communications.
Responsibilities:
The annual base salary range for this position is $144,000 — $207,000 USD
Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level. Bonus/equity may be available.
Please note this is a hybrid role that requires an in-office presence 3 days/week (Tuesday-Thursday).

Responsibilities:
- Executive Thought Leadership: Develop high-quality written materials, including messaging platforms, press releases, Q&As, speeches, opinion articles and social posts. You are a fountain of new ideas and can turn opinions into engaging and informative content that resonates with our target buyers, especially CIOs and CCOs. Your work helps to cement what the company is known for in the ever-changing world of SaaS, AI and customer and employee service.
- Corporate Communications: Strategy Develop content that amplifies the narrative in owned and earned media. Build out keynotes, articles, posts, videos that showcase our executive teams’ expertise, industry insights, and company initiatives. Contribute to the development and evolution of a comprehensive amplification strategy tailored to the executive team’s goals, including target audience identification, key messaging, content calendar, and performance metrics.
- Issues Management: Drive day-to-day issues management - early detection, identification, and proper handling of opportunities or situations that may have a direct impact on corporate reputation.
- Audience Engagement Management: You are able to monitor and identify conversations happening where our ELT has an opinion and insights that will help those audiences. Our executive team is about help, not hype - aiming to add value to audiences, by sharing insights as the leader in uncomplicated business software and as a leader with an extensive track record scaling companies. This role involves community engagement - actively monitoring industry discussions - and analytics and reporting - tracking reach, engagement, and follower growth to assess strategy effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments.
- Cross Functional Partnership: Partner with Finance, Brand & Creative, Product Marketing, and Strategy teams to develop an ongoing storytelling calendar for paid/earned/owned and social content and programs.
- 8-10 years of experience in PR and corporate communications, with a proven track record in top-tier business and tech media relations.
- Prior experience in the B2B and enterprise technology space is strongly preferred, with an understanding of an enterprise go-to-market motion and product development cycles, and where communications fits in.
- An adaptable and proactive mindset with the ability to deliver results under the high pressure, often ambiguous circumstances, and thrive with minimal direction.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills when it comes to technical concepts.
- Consistent track record in building relationships and collaborating with press, executives, partners and other team members.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from data.
