What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Credit Manager position at FRESNO TRUCK CENTER?
The Commercial Credit Manager is primarily responsible for the management of the credit and collections department at Lee Financial Services. They must demonstrate strong credit acumen, including financial statement analysis, and collections law, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a high level of accuracy and consistency. They must be able to properly identify correct borrowers, guarantors, principals, and the structure of the loan and leases. The Commercial Credit Manager must have excellent customer service and negotiation skills. They must be able to structure a loan request given the credit risk profile of the borrower and collateral presented and ensure a profitable margin for each loan. They must also be able to provide restructuring for high-risk customers and minimize exposure to the company.
A Day in the Life May Include:
Management of the credit and collection team. This would include a thorough understanding of their policies and processes. Must be a team player and be able to assist the team at all times, wherever assistance is needed.
Makes final credit decisions based on the customers risk profile and quality of collateral. Credit decisions are for both new loans, extensions, and amendments to contracts.
Makes final collections decisions while mitigating risk and minimizing losses to the organization.
Conduct meetings regarding credit and collections. Presents findings to management.
Process loan agreements for all contracts/notes/leases issued by LFS (this includes outside finance managers).
DMV, UCC, and Deeds of Trusts.
Willing to work and accommodate requests for off hours, on occasion.
To qualify for the role:
Bachelors Degree.
3 years of commercial credit experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Highly detail-oriented and organized approach.
Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook (intermediate level).
