What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at FRESNO TRUCK CENTER?
Overview The Finance Manager produces additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance programs and other appropriate after-sale items to new- and used-vehicle customers.
Responsibilities
Manages a portfolio of customers with their equipment financing needs.
Seeks new lending institutions to secure competitive interest rates and finance programs continually.
Works closely with general sales manager and team to achieve sales department goals and objectives.
Assesses the risk profile of each customer via credit score and analyzing financial statements.
Processes all federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transaction.
Processes, understands, and complies with all federal, state, and local regulations that affect the new- and used-vehicle and finance departments.
Completes paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
REQUIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years previous experience in a lending role with a proven track record of success.
Numerical ability (accounting, finance) for the purpose of understanding credit applications and structuring deals.
Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment. Be available to work beyond the normal 40 hour week.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.
Must be able to assess risk profile of customer.
Previous customer service or background in customer support.
Valid Drivers License.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors of Science in Finance or Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university.
