Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee a team of industrial cleaners, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards.
- Train and mentor team members on proper cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Operate and supervise the use of floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and power lifts.
- Conduct routine inspections to maintain quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
- Identify and address safety hazards, equipment issues, or maintenance needs, escalating concerns as necessary.
- Ensure team members follow OSHA safety regulations, proper PPE usage, and hazardous material handling protocols.
- Coordinate job assignments and workflow to optimize productivity.
- Maintain communication with management regarding project updates, personnel issues, and supply needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in industrial cleaning, manufacturing sanitation, or janitorial work in an industrial setting is preferred.
- Previous leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to train and uphold cleaning quality standards.
- Physically capable of performing demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs. regularly.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if travel to job sites is required).
