Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of database architectures, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to set up advanced data infrastructure and accelerate the deployment of AI-driven models for material / process / product design.
- Develop and maintain data models, database schemas, and data integration workflows to support business needs.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all database systems.
- Optimize and manage database performance, including tuning queries and indexing strategies.
- Lead the migration of on-premises databases to cloud-based solutions, ensuring minimal disruption and data loss.
- Implement and manage data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices, and apply them to improve existing systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior database administrators and developers.
