RECEIVING LEAD
Responsibilities
- Schedules freight carriers and organizes the product to meet the scheduled objectives.
- Directs and coordinates receiving department activities.
- Delegates and assigns work duties.
- Coordinates departmental activities with other FNGP personnel, cells, and support functions, internal and external to this facility.
- Ensure receiving Forklift Operator’s Daily Checklist’s are completed daily.
- Identifies and/or initiates appropriate action to prevent the occurrence or any nonconformity relating to product, process, and quality system either directly or by recommendation through designated channels.
- Controls further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
- Performs and directs various daily transaction on the PC, including P.O. receipts.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree
- High level of commitment and flexibility
- Willingness and ability to work shifts
- Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and consistently changing environment• Working knowledge of PC and its general use to accomplish basic transactions.
- Understanding of FIFO and stock location integrity.
- Leadership and supervisory skills as demonstrated in work history.
