Freudigman & Billings is seeking a Study Hall Proctor to join our Educational Therapy team. This role is essential to the success of our students, as the Study Hall Proctor will supervise and motivate high school students while they work on assignments. In collaboration with instructors, the Proctor will help prioritize tasks and ensure that assignments are completed on time.
The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting students' learning and growth in a study hall environment.
Candidates with prior proctoring experience and math proficiency at or above Algebra 1 are preferred. Strong time management, attention to detail, decision-making skills, and the ability to work independently are key to succeeding in this role.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure a quiet, focused environment while supervising students in the study hall.
- Provide excellent customer service to both students and parents.
- Maintain a professional, clean, and organized study hall space.
- Supervise and guide students as they work on their homework.
- Collaborate with instructors to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Direct students to the appropriate staff for additional support when needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all student information

Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Passion for working with high school students and their families
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable in all tasks
- Proficient with Mac computers, including Excel for data entry, and Xerox printers/copiers
- Familiarity with school assignment portals
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with the team
- Access to reliable transportation
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (Arts or Science) or 3-5 years of clerical experience, or currently enrolled college student (preferred)
- Strong customer service experience
- Leadership abilities
- Experience as a proctor
- Math proficiency at or above Algebra 1
Physical & Environmental Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Office-based role
- Sunday- Thursday schedule, 3 pm to 9 pm
