We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to join our leadership team at our luxury boutique resort in the Catskills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving group sales, fostering relationships, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and Exceed Revenue Goals: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Group Sales: Increase group bookings by focusing on corporate executive retreats and weddings
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies through key channels, including MPI, CVENT, Helms Brisco, and destination meeting planner networks
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and inspire a sales team of three, cultivating a high-performance and collaborative environment
- Business Development: Proactively generate new business by building relationships with meeting planners and increasing wedding bookings
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a boutique hotel or resort setting
- A proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets while growing revenue streams
- Strong knowledge of corporate group and wedding sales, with experience using platforms like MPI, CVENT, and Helms Brisco
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing and growing a high-performing sales team
