We are seeking an Associate Scientist – In Vitro Drug Transport & Cell Culture to support our global pharmaceutical client in West Point, PA.
Job Summary
The Associate Scientist will be responsible for conducting research and development of novel drug delivery systems using in vitro cell culture models. This is a long-term contract position offering a range of benefits, including discounted healthcare insurance and a matching 401K plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize in vitro cell culture models for drug transport studies
- Conduct experiments to evaluate the efficacy and safety of novel drug delivery systems
- Analyze data and draw conclusions on the performance of different drug formulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies
- Present research findings and results to senior management and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., pharmacology, toxicology, biochemistry)
- Strong background in cell culture techniques and in vitro drug transport studies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and equipment
