Experience in tissue culture, molecular biology, or in vitro assays. Strong collaborative skills and keen attention to detail. Preferred Experience and Skills : Experience in the design, development, and execution of in vitro assays. Industry experience or an advanced degree (MS) is preferred. Experience working with RNA or high throughput assay platforms. Responsibilities : Develop and perform in vitro assays to support vaccine discovery within the Department of Infectious Disease and Vaccines at Merck Research Laboratories. Optimize and execute novel assays to evaluate vaccine candidates. Properly document and report experimental findings and assay protocols while adhering to laboratory safety requirements. Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team and adapt quickly to new techniques.
