Job Overview:
Frichette Winery, a family-owned winery on Red Mountain in Washington, is seeking a Wine Edutainer I to provide exceptional hospitality and drive sales in their tasting room. This role focuses on creating a memorable experience for guests by sharing the winery's story and passion for wine, ultimately leading to increased wine sales. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, a proven ability to achieve sales targets, and a genuine enthusiasm for educating and engaging with visitors.
Hospitality & Customer Service
- Greet visitors within three seconds as they enter the winery
- Provide education on the wines, wine region and share Frichette Story with every guest
- Pour and serve wine by flight, glass, and bottle with perfect wine/bottle service
- Maintain a clean tasting room, restroom, kitchen, bar area, patio
- Wash and polish stemware
- Prepare and serve cheese plates
- Organize and re-stock bar area
- Must be able to work in a team environment
Sales
- Meet sales goal
- Meet wine club sign-up goals
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated sales skills and experience
- Ability to hold engaging conversations in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of wine and wine service
- Ability to provide customers with a stellar and unforgettable wine experience
- Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and occasional events, normal hours are Noon - 6:00 PM
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have MAST card and Food Handlers Card
- Must have a professional appearance and attitude
This is a seasonal part-time position with approximately 15 hours per week starting at $18 per hour pooled tips. This position has potential for advancement within the company.
