Job Description :
We have partnered with a distinguished law firm on the search for an Insurance Coverage Attorney. You will work out of the New Jersey office but must be licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance law, particularly with a focus on evaluating and litigating complex insurance coverage matters. This role involves advising clients, drafting coverage opinions, and representing clients in coverage disputes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on insurance coverage issues, including analysis of policy language and interpretation.
- Draft detailed coverage opinions, position letters, and reservation of rights letters.
- Represent insurers or policyholders in litigation matters, including declaratory judgment actions and bad faith claims.
- Conduct discovery, depositions, and motions practice in state and federal courts.
- Collaborate with clients, claims professionals, and other attorneys to develop and execute legal strategies.
- Stay updated on relevant insurance laws and industry trends in New York and New Jersey.
