What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Associate (Alternate Track) position at Friday Services?
Non-partnership track litigation associate. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of litigation experience. This is a full-time position but affords a more predictable work schedule than a traditional associate position.
Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills required.
- Experience in insurance defense litigation preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
VISUAL ACUITY
- Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
