Position Summary :
The Operations & Facilities Supervisor oversees all areas of the Operations & Facilities Department. Responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the facility, including managing a team of maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining the overall functionality of the firm's building systems and office space. The role requires technical knowledge and leadership skills to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Works on special projects as assigned, reports directly to the Manager of Operations and Facilities. Frequently interacts with administrative and legal staff to provide excellent customer service to the New York office. The working hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 10 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM, with occasional overtime, including weekends, as required.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Assists Operations & Facilities Department in handling all daily challenges and requests from legal and business services staff.
- Coordinates with Human Capital Management and Attorney Resources to ensure a smooth transition for arriving and departing employees.
- Coordinates with Porter Services on various tasks / projects.
- Prepare reports for analysis of various services and accounts.
- Responsible for sourcing and procuring items for various departments,e. Maintenance, Porter Services, Dining Services etc.
- Conduct regular inspections of systems and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor the office space for potential hazards and address concerns promptly.
- Ensure adherence to local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Maintain necessary documentation and reports (e.g., MSDS's) related to facility operations and compliance.
- Maintain invoices for the Operations & Facilities department.
- Coordinates with vendors for repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Oversees maintenance team, working closely on special projects.
Projects include office builds, office conversions, restacks and renovations.
Qualifications :
Education : High School Diploma, GED. Some college is a plus.
Experience : Minimum 5 years of work-related experience. Project management experience a plus.

Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, management, business services staff and colleagues. Ability to act in a fair, equitable and professional manner at all times. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to work under pressure with interruptions and tight deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to use judgment, problem solve and answer questions. Proficiency with various software programs such as PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel and Asana or other project management applications. All positions require punctuality and regular attendance.
The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and / or from which they will be performing the job.

75,000-$85,000 USD
