What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Specialist position at Friedman Williams?
As a Payroll and Benefits Specialist you will be responsible for auditing the payroll and, assist with all client employee's benefits administration and functions
Responsibilities:
- Accurately calculate employee wages, overtime, commissions, and deductions based on timecards and company policies.
- Input employee time and pay information into payroll software.
- Generate paychecks and direct deposits, including processing garnishments and other deductions.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
- Address employee questions related to payroll, paystubs, and benefits.
- Generate payroll reports for management and accounting purposes.
- Assist with internal and external payroll audits.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, OR 3 - 5 years of experience in the Payroll and benefits field
- Proven experience as a Payroll and benefits specialist or similar role
- Ability to work with large data sets and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with payroll software ADP Workforce Now and MS Office (especially Excel)
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy
- An analytical mind and good math skills
- Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
- Organizational and leadership skills
Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
