This is not a C2C, 1099, or Contract to Hire.WHAT WE WANT (Position Overview)The DevOps Manager leads and drives DevOps practices across the organization’s development teams through management of a dedicated contractor team. This role implements and maintains DevOps methodologies and tools that support both internal business systems and global customer-facing websites. The position combines technical leadership with contractor management to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation in our software delivery and operational practices.WHAT YOU WILL DO (Primary Responsibilities)Team and Process Management The DevOps Manager provides strategic direction and oversight of DevOps initiatives through : Managing a team of DevOps contractors responsible for implementing and maintaining DevOps practicesCoordinating with internal development teams to implement DevOps methodologies and toolsEstablishing performance metrics and conducting regular evaluations of contractor deliverablesCreating and maintaining documentation and knowledge sharing processesLeading incident post-mortems and driving continuous process improvements across teamsDevOps Operations Management Oversee critical DevOps operations, including : Leading CI / CD pipeline development and optimization for development teamsManaging container orchestration and Kubernetes operations at scaleImplementing and maintaining infrastructure as code practicesEvaluating, recommending, and implementing build and deployment toolsDeveloping strategies for optimal use of development tools and platformsImplementing observability solutions and monitoring frameworksMaintaining configuration management and deployment strategiesDeveloping and maintaining robust testing frameworksStrategic Planning and Innovation Drive DevOps advancement and operational efficiency through : Developing and executing DevOps roadmaps aligned with business objectivesEvaluating and implementing new technologies to enhance delivery capabilitiesEstablishing and maintaining SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs for deployment and operational performanceCreating and maintaining reliable deployment and rollback proceduresOptimizing development and operational workflows for efficiency and qualityCollaborating with development teams to identify and implement process improvementsSecurity and Compliance Ensure robust security measures and compliance standards by : Implementing and maintaining secure CI / CD practices across development teamsOverseeing security scanning and testing integrationManaging security incident response proceduresEnsuring compliance with industry regulations and standardsConducting regular security audits and assessmentsWHAT YOU MUST HAVE (Qualifications)Education And Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field7 years of DevOps or software engineering experience3 years of technical team management experienceDemonstrated expertise in CI / CD and automation practicesTechnical Skills Advanced knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologiesExperience with Kubernetes and container orchestrationProficiency in infrastructure as code and automationUnderstanding of CI / CD pipelines and deployment strategiesExperience with monitoring and observability platformsBackground in build and deployment tooling evaluation and implementationExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)Leadership Skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilitiesProject management experienceProven track record of leading technical initiatives across multiple teamsExperience managing incident response and escalationsAbility to influence and drive adoption of DevOps practices across development teamsWorking Conditions Full-time positionRemote work position with occasional travel requiredParticipation in on-call rotation and emergency response requiredEvening and weekend work may be necessary for system maintenance and incident responseWHAT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATEExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to prioritize and work well in a fast-paced environment with competing demandsProficient in all Microsoft office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPointSound analytical and legal reasoning skillsSelf-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to contribute individually as well as part of a teamUphold sensitivity to priorities and confidentialityHigh degree of honesty and integrityDeadline oriented and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environmentTeam-player, positive attitude and flexibleMust be comfortable with adult contentMust be at least 21 years oldREPORTING TO THIS POSITION : TBDPERKSFriendFinder Networks Inc. and its subsidiaries offer a business casual work environment, flexible work hours, and a competitive salary.
