What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revenue Manager position at FriendFinder Networks?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Revenue Manager will be responsible for revenue-related financial functions. The successful candidate will manage the month-end close for revenue, provide data analysis, and recommend solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for daily revenue-related processes, and revenue-recognition financial models, and month-end close
- Work closely with product, engineering/billing, analytic team to understand business needs to redesign and implement revenue cycle
- Responsible for analysis and validation of internal sales data with merchant processors
- Daily reconciliation of sales to cash receipts and merchant processing projects
- Perform investigation, reporting, and resolving discrepancies with order processing
- Perform administrative tasks related to credit card relationship, rates, contracts and invoices.
- Work with banks and merchant banks regarding questionable credit/debit issues on statements
- Work with the billing team to report transaction issues to keep internal records accurate
- Review contracts for adverse terms and work with banks to change; complete all authorized signer information
- Gather data for compliance checks and handle follow-up request from banks
- Provide external audit and miscellaneous reporting requirements
- Train, supervise (approve PTO and timecards, performance reviews, etc.), and review revenue-team members
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and/or equivalent work experience
- 7 years of accounting experience
- Experience with GAAP
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications and internal reporting tools
- Experience with Great Plains or equivalent ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience in using excel spreadsheets and SQL for revenue related data analysis
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Expert-level experience with Excel (vlookup, pivot tables); financial modeling experience desirable
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills; able to interact with all levels of the company
- Deadline oriented, organized, ability to multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment
- Team-player, positive attitude and flexible
- Must be comfortable with adult content
- Must be at least 21 years old
