We are seeking a motivated and skilled Regional Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team. Position Overview :
The Regional Assistant Maintenance Supervisor will assist the Regional Maintenance Supervisor in managing the maintenance and repair operations across multiple properties in the San Fernando Valley region. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, possess strong organizational and technical skills, and be able to travel up to 150 miles per day to various sites. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours is required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the Regional Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing maintenance tasks for a portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and landscaping as needed.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety and building codes, regulations, and property standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify repair and maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, coordinating with the team to ensure quick resolution.
- Supervise and train maintenance staff, ensuring work is completed to company standards and on time.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, work orders, and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with property managers, tenants, and vendors to ensure a smooth operation of all properties.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of equipment, tools, and materials.
- Travel to different properties within a 150-mile radius for inspections, repairs, and emergency tasks. Mileage will be compensated for all travel.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency services.
