WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Planning and Strategy Design
- Develop & maintain strong working relationships with Operations Leadership and Human Resource Business partners along with providing clear measurement and reporting of the effectiveness of current recruitment strategies and key openings. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize to support the business.
- Build and deliver full-cycle talent acquisition practices to ensure the attraction, evaluation and hiring of highly qualified and diverse talent.
- Responsible for the design and strategy for recruiting. Presenting a variety of recommendations and tools to best recruit including best practices of social media and other tools in a multi-unit environment.
- Build out a talent acquisition team and identify training opportunities on tools and processes to ensure their success.
- Develop relevant documentation to ensure the talent acquisition process is efficient, measurable, and delivers a positive experience for our candidates.
- Build the foundation for a data-driven talent organization by developing and reporting critical KPIs, metrics, reporting and data analytics to track progress, drive decisions and determine success.
- Deliver regular data and analytics to all key stakeholders.
- Assess recruiting channels and recommend improvements to elevate performance.
- Evaluate potential third-party recruiting partners, guide decision making, manage vendors and evaluate/track vendor effectiveness.
- Remain up to date with the latest trends in talent acquisition tools and practices.
- Partner with business leaders to forecast hiring needs.
- Design a clear end to end positive experience for candidates and hiring managers in the recruiting and hiring process, including providing clear expectations, updates on candidate pool, ensuring interview process is well coordinated, overseeing and tracking requisition process and postings.
- Lead the ownership of the applicant tracking system (ATS). Ensure the ATS is configured and used to drive an optimal candidate and recruiting experience.
- Utilizes a “customer” mindset that aligns with Friendly Group’s goals on creating the candidate experience and assessing for talent fit.
- Determine strategy for assessment tools and hiring tools for key positions to help support management and hiring the best qualified candidate.
- “Hands-On” Leader who will also recruit for key leadership positions or other openings as needed.
- Partners with HR and Operational teams to assess how to attract candidates in competitive markets.
- Create and maintain job profiles to include interviewing guides.
- Ensure clear on-going sourcing for key job roles and assess those channels and effectiveness.
- Partner with key operational leaders and corporate leaders to understand “upcoming” needs and budget to be sourcing candidates for future openings to be proactive.
- Partner with Operations and HR to support short term and long-term business needs by proactively developing hiring needs assessments, focusing on key roles in order of business priority.
- Support a strategy for the hiring of seasonal and /or temporary labor and partnership with key temporary staffing vendors or other suppliers.
- Support the field leadership, guiding them on utilization of vendors that are most efficient.
- Identifies the right tools and resources needed to fill the funnel and is willing to pivot when necessary to meet demand.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or similar years of experience in talent acquisition.
- 4 years’ experience in managing a recruiting team.
- Proven success and experience in recruiting exempt and non-exempt team members using various techniques to include but not limited to direct sourcing, internet, career fairs, social media, networking, and cold calling.
- Must have strong application skills in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (Outlook, Oracle HCM, LinkedIn Recruiter, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong data management and reporting skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, prioritizing, and administrative skills; ability to self-direct in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
- Proven ability to identify obstacles and create solutions to complex recruitment problems.
- Strong project management skills to drive projects to completion.
- Must be able to work independently: self-motivated to complete work in a timely and accurate manner.
- Comfortable and confident to communicate with all levels of employees: Executives, regional teams, and field teams.
