Description:
The After School Aide provides leadership, develops, and implements a safe and age appropriate after school program for school age youth under close supervision of the Afterschool Program Coordinator.
Summer Program Dates: June 23rd to August 15th
Shifts Available: morning, 7:30am to 1:00pm, or afternoon, 12:00om to 5:30pm Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Create and cultivate a helpful and meaningful connection with the young individuals.
- Assist in carrying out activities suitable for their age, as directed by the Program Coordinator and Mentor.
- Help kids excel in inclusive programs.
- Attend and assist with field trips on selected days.
- At least 16 years old.
- 6 months of experience in school age programs or comparable experience.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- This position requires up to date physical and immunization records.
- CPR and/or First Aid Certification, preferred.
