We need an additional Billing team member to help with the rapidly rising insurance claims and payments.

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to make sure office was paid properly
-Posting Bills into EHR (Electronic Health Record)
- Assign appropriate ICD-10, DRG, and CPT codes to medical procedures and diagnoses
- Verify patient insurance coverage and process claims for reimbursement
- Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain missing or incomplete documentation
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Follow up on denied or rejected claims and resolve billing discrepancies
- Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines and regulations
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding
- Proficient in ICD-10 coding system and familiar with ICD-9 codes
- Knowledge of DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) coding
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
- Excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients
- Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, and documentation requirements
