We are hiring to train the applicant for two positions, meaning depending on the shift you could be Ice cream scooping one day and Greeting the following day.
Ice Cream Scooping:
Responsibilities :
- Scoop and serve ice cream to customers
- Provide excellent customer service and answer any questions about flavors and toppings
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the ice cream shop
- Assist with bussing tables and keeping the dining area clean
- Prepare ice cream cones, sundaes, and other desserts according to customer requests
Requirements:
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Previous experience in a retail or food service setting is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:
- Greets guests warmly creating a positive first impression
-Escort guests to their tables efficiently and accurately
-Ensure a smooth and organized seating flow
-Offer menus and answer basic questions about the restaurant
-Maintain a clean organized waiting area
-Communicate with servers and other staff to optimize seating and ensure smooth service
-Help with tasks such as cleaning tables, as well as setting up tables
-Contributing to a positive dining experience by being friendly, helpful, and attentive to guests' needs
