Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Ice Cream Scooper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving delicious ice cream and creating a memorable experience for our guests. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that each customer leaves with a smile.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders with a positive attitude.
- Scoop and serve ice cream in various sizes, ensuring portion control and presentation.
- Upsell additional items such as toppings, cones, and beverages to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables and disposing of waste properly.
- Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with retail math and basic math skills is beneficial for handling transactions.
- Experience working in cafés, grocery stores, kitchens, or restaurants is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
