Fountain Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fountain Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and sundaes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for delivering high-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve fountain drinks, smoot and sundaes according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fountain area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and operational.
• Engage with customers to promote menu items, upselling when appropriate to enhance their experience.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and notifying management when reordering is necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and assist in training new staff as needed.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant, or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Basic math skills, including retail math, for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• A passion for the food industry and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
